first look*

My brother Peder got married this past weekend to a firecracker named Annie. I have a gazillion (okay, so it's really about 1300) photos to go through, but I knew before the day was over that this would be one of my favorites: Peder's first look at his bride.

Is there anything like that first look?

Hello, blogging friends!!

I just wanted to let you know that the professional photos from the wedding will be available for viewing starting tomorrow, 6/20!! It was a privilege for us to have the impeccable Jen Fox at our wedding. We've gotten a sneak peak at what's to come, and we couldn't be more thrilled!!

You can get in on the action, too. To view photos (starting 6/20):
  1. Go to jenfoxphotography.com.
  2. Click on 'come on in!'.
  3. Click on 'Client'.
  4. Enter the not-so-super-secret password: kirstenjames.
  5. Click 'submit'.

Enjoy, and happy viewing to you!! I'm not certain of the exact timeframe, but I do know these will be available for viewing for a limited time only (sorry, couldn't resist).

We are still here, in the process of unpacking, organizing, purging, settling, living, working, loving, seeking ... you know the drill.

Peace to you!

The P's are back home and exhausted and settling into the new digs. Too tired to write much now, but I just wanted to stick my hand up and say hello.

I was honored that Jen Fox agreed to capture our day through her camera (Jen did the photos from my solo session last year). Weddings aren't normally part of her repertoire, so it was amazing to be able to have her there. Here's a sneak peek at what she captured.

I was also happy I brought my camera for the day -- I wasn't capturing anything myself, of course, but trusted friends were grabbing my Canon 40D and snapping a few here and there. Check out a sampling of wedding photos here.

I hope to be back with you soon!!
