"I have taken you in my arms, and I love you, and I prefer you to my life itself. For the present life is nothing, and my most ardent dream is to spend it with you in such a way that we may be assured of not being separated in the life reserved for us. I place your love above all things, and nothing would be more bitter or painful to me than to be of a different mind than you."
John Chrysostom
Catechism of the Catholic Church 2365
So beautiful. Both the image and the words...
ReplyDelete*sigh* Love is so sweet.
ReplyDeleteYou two are so cute. Great photo! And ... is it already snowing there?! You two are all bundled up, and it looks like that could be snow on the ground behind you.
ReplyDeleteOh no, no snow yet, thank God!! Just crisp (read = cold) fall weather. I think it's a cement wall behind us, made snowy-looking by the blur effect of the camera. :o)
ReplyDeleteAh..........
ReplyDeleteI had to stop by and comment - I had to look you up to make sure you weren't my sister, whose name is "Kristen Michelle." I've been by here before - love your blog. Looking forward to doing the blog thing again on the other side of this post-processing push I'm on!
ReplyDeleteSweet... very, very sweet.
ReplyDeleteAwesome photo!
So great to find you - I must say the quote is marvelous! Beautiful picture as well. Great blog - I'm in Wenatchee - so it is fun to come across one so close. Blessings to you! Lori G.
