    I think we often forget "he gave" had some very heavy consequences for the Son and the Father.

    "He knows what it's like, run to Him."

    I think part of "running to Him" is sharing our story, our lives with one another.

  2. I know. I've listened to it 3 times now ... tears every time.

    That kid gets it. I know that Christ promised us trouble in this life, yet in the midst of it, I often find that I had all the while hoped I'd be spared.

    Run to Him. Not away. He knows what it's like.

    Those words will stick.

    And yes, I wholeheartedly agree: sharing our stories & lives with one another is one of the ways we do that.

  3. Wow.. tears are a flowin. Truly from the mouth of babes. He has this kind of wisdom at 10 (my guess) I can not imagine what he will have at 20.
