Meet Slater, my family's 11-year-old mane coon cat. Slater enjoys playing with long curly ribbon, burrowing under massive piles of wrapping paper, and posing for the camera.
Christianne - He is pretty darn cute & LOVES being the center of attention. He gets shy & skittish at the oddest times which just keeps us all on our toes.
I sincerely hope you are enjoying your vacation! I do miss your posts, but hope you are soaking up every minute of your vacation, spending time with the ones you love, & enjoying the downtime. :o)
Kirst, it's been WEIRD not to be posting every other day or three! And sometimes I admit it's hard to give myself permission not to be thinking of new posts and then writing them out. Freeing, but also strange. I'll post as I can, but I'll also continue letting myself just be in the moments that present themselves here.
Those are some amazing photos Kirsten! Makes me feel all cozy and Christmasy just looking at them.
ReplyDeleteYour kitty makes me laugh - mainly because remember when you got this kitty.
ReplyDeleteMy cat gave me a gift for Christmas... a 700 dollar vet bill for the ribbon she ate. oy vey. I am glad yours was a little better behaved.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Terri!! It was a warm & cozy kind of day, full of love & color. :o)
ReplyDeleteIlse - He is a funny kitty. I can't believe he's almost 12 years old. We got him the summer we graduated from high school. Scary!
Carl - your poor kitty! His poor parents! What a story, though. Hope she is OK. :o)
Ohh!!! I love Slater -- he's so cute and seems to have a great personality. I love that in a cat. :)
ReplyDeleteCozy pictures for a cozy day. Someday I'll get around to updating my blog on this vacation. Someday. :)
