beauty*

Greetings, friends!!

It's a new year and I've been a busy, busy girl. I just got back from visiting my friend Caleb in the San Francisco area and leave for Ireland a week from this coming Friday. Where has the time gone?!

For my birthday this year, I got an amazing gift: a Canon 40D. The camera and I are taking our time getting acquainted, but after using it rather prolifically on this most recent trip (about 600 shots in three days), I can tell you that this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship.

Beauty is manifesting itself in so many new and exciting ways in my life right now -- things that I've hoped for and waited for and cried out to God for are coming my way. Empty hands are being filled to overflowing. My heart feels so very full that these stories will take some time to unfold and to tell as I search out the words that will aim to describe all that's being unveiled right now.

Here's to a year of immense and unparalleled beauty ... thanks for joining me for the journey.

  10. Hey Kirsten
I just wanted to let you know that I am deleting my blog. Lots of reasons for that. I wanted to say thank you for the ways that your zealous spirit encouraged and inspired me. I hope all is well in your new surroundings there.

I e-mailed you my new e-mail address. The e-mail address I have for you may be an old address. I am not sure about that. Christianne has my new address in case my e-mail failed.

    Love and peace to you

I hope your trip in Ireland is spectacular, and I look forward to seeing photos from your trip (with your lovely new camera!!--twinge of envy because I've been eyeing cameras myself). 14. I'm looking for a camera for Lorna so I'll be waiting to hear feedback. And given that I've just returned from 3 days in Dublin I'm really hoping I haven't just missed a chance to meet up with you.
